Cláudia Camila Dias is a researcher at the Center for Health Technology and Services Research (CINTESIS) and an Assistant Researcher at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP).
She holds a Master’s degree in Data Analysis and Decision Support Systems (2007) from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto (FEP) and a PhD in Clinical Research and Health Services (2017) from FMUP.
Between 2015 and 2019, she was part of the NanoSTIMA – Macro-to-Nano Human Sensing: Towards Integrated Multimodal Health Monitoring and Analytics project team. She also worked for OPTIM – Optimizing Information Systems for Healthcare (2008), ALES II – Adaptive Learning Systems II (2004), and DAIP-CIP – Development and assessment of optimal risk scores for outcomes in pediatric intensive care (2001).
She has published more than 150 articles in scientific journals. Her work focuses on health data using both traditional health research methods and data science approaches.
